Rio Dell-Scotia Library

A branch of the Humboldt County Library system serves both Rio Dell and Scotia, located at 715 Wildwood Avenue in Rio Dell, between City Hall and the volunteer fire department.  There are special events, a summer reading program for children, story times, and books ordered from participating libraries can be picked up and dropped off here.  There’s a Friends of the Library organization that hosts an annual used book sale among other activities, and people who wish can volunteer with projects such as reshelving books, a great way to help out and be among fellow book-lovers.  Hours are:

Tuesday: 11:00am-4:00pm

Wednesday: 1:00pm-6:00pm

Saturday: 11:00am-4:00pm
